Support the first build

The five prototypes are built. RBaken has no CE marking, so I cannot sell you one. What you can do is chip in towards the certification work and the next iteration, and I send you one of the five as a thank-you. It is a contribution, not a purchase and not a pre-order.

How you’d use it (optional)

Before you contribute

–I am making a voluntary contribution towards the development of RBaken. I am not buying a product, and this is not a pre-order.
–RBaken is a pre-production prototype, not a finished retail product. The finished device has not gone through its own CE/RED certification, even though the LoRa module inside it (RAK4631 by RAKwireless) is separately certified.
–As a thank-you, one of the five prototypes will be sent to me. I understand this is a reward for supporting the work, not goods I have purchased.
–I am receiving a hand-built prototype and some of them could have faults. That is part of what this round is for.
–I will use it voluntarily for testing and evaluation, at my own discretion and risk.
–I will not use it for safety-critical, emergency or medical purposes. It is a hobby tracking and communication aid for outdoor team activities, not certified safety equipment.
–I will not resell the unit or pass it on to anyone else. It carries no CE marking.
–I am taking part to help the project, and I will share honest feedback from my team after using it in the field.

I confirm all of the above. *

I have read the Contribution terms and the Privacy policy, and I understand that my contribution is not a purchase. *

You'll read your address back before anything is charged, then Stripe takes the contribution. Your confirmation email arrives as soon as it clears.
